Our heart's are sad for all of you on the loss of your dear Loved One. Dorena was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside,
What a beautiful smile she had, it would light up any room. Over the years we spoke often and it was evident she loved her family,
and the grandchildren were spoke about with a smile on her face and love in her heart.
We will always have fond memories of talks together and I know all of you will as well, hold them close to your heart's, as you go through this very difficult time in your lives.

Brian and I were saddened to hear of Dorena's passing. We knew of her hospitality first hand, as she and John hosted us in one of our first Sundays on the Millstream. During our time there we knew her to be a caregiver to Bernice, an active member of the WMS, Sunday School teacher VBS organizer and Choir member. I have included a picture of Doreena telling the children's story, surrounded by children. I think Doreena 'mothered' as many people as she could, me included. She shared her homemade mincemeat, made with deer meat, that was like gold. I admired a hand crocheted angel - she wouldn't let me leave without it. Dear folks, So sorry to hear of Dorena's passing. I came to know her when she cared for my aging Grandmother Colpitts in Penobsquis so many years ago. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and would press her ear to the old tube radio whenever a song of his was played.
