Obituary of Dianne Pierce

Ms. Dianne Connell Pierce passed away on March 25, 2025, at her residence in Sussex, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on December 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ronald G. and Gladys E. (Connell) Pierce of Sussex.

Dianne is survived by her sister, Susan of St. Petersburg, Florida and several cousins.

Dianne was a copywriter for several years at private radio stations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. In 1973, she returned to Sussex and worked as an advertising assistant and news reporter for the Kings County Record. She was also a local news correspondent for the Telegraph Journal for a period of time. In 2000, she retired as a part-time production worker at the record.

Dianne had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her three dogs through the years: "Peaches", "Honey" and "Holly".

Dianne was also a member of Trinity Anglican Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB, (506) 433-1176. At Dianne's request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens at 11:00am on Monday, April 7.
