Obituary of Theresa Madden

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mrs. Theresa Bernetta Madden announce her passing at the Mill Cove Nursing Home on September 20, 2025 at 99.

Born in Buckley Settlement on April 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Breen) Malone and the loving wife of the late Adrian Madden who passed away in 1986.

She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She will live on in the hearts of her children: Patrick Madden and his wife Dianah of Smiths Creek, Joan Wallace and her husband John of Calgary, Adrian Jr. Madden and his wife Teri of Titusville, Philip Madden and his wife Heather of Sussex, Jane Dalling and her husband Eugene of Rockville and Ann McNutt and her husband Kelly of Smiths Creek; her grandchildren: Michael Madden and his wife Sarah, Pamela Henderson and her husband Alex, Alexander Madden and his wife Danielle, Jessica Wallace, Jeremy Wallace and his wife MaryAnne, Bobbi Ann Wallace, Stevi Wallace, Lindsay Madden, Chelsey Shannon and her husband Matt, Nicholas Madden, Justin Madden and his wife Megan, Stephanie Reicker and her husband Jonathan, Megan Madden, Bradley Friars and his wife Katie, Jeb Dalling and his wife Rianna, Krista Merrill and her husband Eric, Emily Ingraham and her husband Trevor, Cassie Zelinski and her husband Thomas, Nathan McNutt, Sadie McNutt, Bridget McNutt and Mitchell McNutt; her great grandchildren: Hailey, Jordan, Aiden, Ava, Lola, Layla, Sophia, Declan, Harper, Kane, Rylin, Fiona, Sydney, David, Evony, John, Hugo, Karson, Jaxson, Talon, Jasmine, Brayden, Noah, Logan, Myles, Jack, Eli, Adalyn, Quinn, Stella, Adrian, Elliot and Jackson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers: Gerard, Joe, Frank, Matthew and Austin Malone; her sisters: Mona Scott and Madelyn Richard; an infant sister, Annie and by her grandson Jonathan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6-8pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00am.  The interment will take place at Wards Creek Cemetery.
