Obituary of Austella Robinson
Mrs. Austella A. Robinson of Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, formerly of Apohaqui, passed away at her residence on May 31, 2002. Austella was born in Urney, NB on August 30, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lucy (Snider) Shannon and the beloved wife of the late Willard Robinson who passed away in 1991. Her son Wallace of Apohaqui, 2 sisters Laura MacKenzie of Cougle Rd. and Freda Morrow and her husband Victor of Mississauga, Ont. survive Austella, as well as several nieces and nephews. Austella is predeceased by 2 brothers Russell, and Robert and by her son Ray, who passed away in 1978. Austella was a graduate from Provincial Normal School in 1930. She taught in many schools through out Kings County and later became a supply teacher. She was a member of Silas James United Church, a founding member of the Rockville Women's Institute and a member of Apohaqui UCW. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday evening from7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 2, 2002 at 3:30 pm, with Rev. Doug Cosman officiating.
