Mrs. Phyllis Montana Ross, of Sussex, NB, passed away suddenly at the Sussex Health Centre on May 7, 2002. Born in Halifax, NS on June 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Sara M. (Carroll) Gibb and the late Garnet Elliot. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Debbie Evans and her granddaughter, Shannon Evans of Edmonton, Alberta, her sister, Lorna Roy of Bridgewater, NS, her brother, Ernest Elliot of Stoney Plane, Alberta and several nieces and nephews she was predeceased by her brother Russell . Phyllis loved her garden, baking and cooking and was very generous with her friends and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by all. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Phyllis's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
