Mr. Robert Perry Hetherington of 849 Route 710, Codys, New Brunswick passed away at his residence on December 11, 2001. Robert was born in Sussex, New Brunswick on March 19, 1914, and was the son of the late Frank and Alice (Perry) Hetherington. He will be greatly missed by Margery, his beloved wife of 52 years, his brothers Gordon and his wife Ivy of England and Donald and his wife Mary of Cody's, his sister Grace Hetherington of Sussex. Special Grandchildren Margery Bethany Butler and her husband Paul and Robert James Crouch, children of Winnie and Bill Crouch. A sister-in- law Roberta Hetherington of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by 3 brothers Ralph, Palmerston and John. He served overseas during WWII in the Canadian Army 11th field Park RCE. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Youngs Cove Rd. Branch # 60 and a member of Cody's Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), at Robert's request no visitation of funeral service will be held. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at their home on Thursday, December 13th from 2-4pm. The burial will take place in Hetherington Cemetery. Cody's.
