STANLEY SPROUL, of Jeffries Corner, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on September 18, 2001. Born in Sussex, NB on July 4, 1949, he was the son Earl and Doris Sproul of Portagevale. Stan is survived by his beloved wife MaryAnn (Mercer), his parents his children Kimberley Sassade and her husband Robb of Montreal, Darcy of Portagevale and Zackary at home, his sisters Carol Arsenault and her husband Alec, Cathy Bannister and her husband Terry, Brenda Bannister and her husband David all of Portagevale, June Friars and her husband Derek of Sussex Corner, Jackie Sproul and Robert Seaman of Parkindale, his grandson Colton (CJ), several nieces and nephews. Stan was a Miner and Welder with Potacan, Cassidy Lake Division. He was a former Cub Leader, and an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Stan's request there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held from Penobsquis United Baptist Church on Friday, September 21, 2001 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Wayne Johnston officiating. Donations made to Sussex Vale Transition House or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
