MR. E. DAVIS CHRISTIAN, of Sussex Corner, New Brunswick passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 25, 2001. Born in Simonds, NB on August 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Guy Christian and Eunice (Woodworth) Christian. Davis is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn Irene (King) Christian, his daughter, Judy Haley and her husband Reed of St. Stephen, 2 sons, Brian of Oromocto, Stephen of Apohaqui, 2 brothers, J. Robert Christian and his wife Bonnie of Fredericton, G. Carleton Christian and his wife Barbara of Perth-Andover, 5 grandchildren, Trevor and Allison Christian of Oromocto, Nicholas, Joshua and Emily Foster of St. Stephen, 2 step-grandchildren, Emily and Nathaniel Haley of St. Stephen, several nieces and nephews. Davis was predeceased by his brother Arthur. Davis graduated from Hartland High School in 1949 and from UNB Civil Engineering in 1954. He was a member of the Federal Superannuates, the Sussex Golf and Curling Club. He was a retired member of the Provincial Engineering Association. He was a retired Chartered Member of the Golden K. Davis was an avid Gardener, Golfer and Curler. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday 2-4, 7-9, Sunday 2-4 at Wallace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 28, 2001 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Bob Hussey officiating. Interment at Riverbank Cemetery.
