Mrs. Margaret Louise Akerley, of Sussex, New Brunswick passed away at Sussex Health Centre on March 19, 2001. Born in Crafts Cove, Queens Co. NB on May 7, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Marcus H. and Elmyra M (Mott) Mott. She was the beloved wife of the late Percy F. Akerley who passed away in 1965. Margaret is survived by her daughter Lois Urquhart and her husband Ross of Sussex, her son Gordon and his wife Mae of Fredericton, her sister Lydia Webster of Belyea' s Cove, 5 grandchildren; Dianne Urquhart of Saint John, Brian and his wife Linda of Sussex, Melissa Meadows and her husband Jarret of Fredericton, Scott and his wife Meganne of Grand Forks, BC, 3 Great Grandchildren; Cameron, Colin, Madison and Urquhart, Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was predeceased by a an infant brother, 2 brothers Theodore and Burton, and a sister Florence Lord. She was a 50 Member of Kiersteadville WI and former member of Belyea Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wed. 2-4,7-9 at Wallace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial chapel on Thursday, March 22, 2001 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Greg Loosley officiating. Interment will follow at Belyea's Cove Cemetery. Donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
