Mr. Ron Vincent MacAfee, of Kiwanis Nursing Home Sussex, N.B. passed away at his residence on December 4, 2000. Born in Sussex Corner, NB on January 22, 1914, the was the son of the late DeWolfe and Elsie (Walker) MacAfee. Ron is survived by his beloved wife Marion (Sharp) (Reid) MacAfee, his daughter - Patricia Murray and her husband Gary Jacquet River, NB, 2 sons Gerald and his wife Laura of Rockville; Allen and his wife Mary of Bedford, NS, a step son Robert Reid and his wife Debbie of Halifax, NS, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, a great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his first wife Mildred A. (Mills) MacAfee who passed away in 1985, and by his brother Andrew. Ron was retired from J. Clark and Sons Ltd. and Royal Pontiac Ltd. He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club, Zion Lodge # 21 F & AM and was a life member of the Orange Lodge. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of WALLACE FUNERAL HOME 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday 7-9 at Wallace Funeral Home. Zion Lodge #21 F & AM will hold a Memorial Tribute Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 7, 2000 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Warren Vollmer Officiating. Interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery. Donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
