Obituary of Gerald Zylstra

MR. GERALD ZYLSTRA, of Knightville Road, Smith Creek, New Brunswick passed away at Sussex Health Centre on December 3, 2000.

Born in Anjum, Holland on January 2, 1918, he was the son of the late Gysbert and Jannetge (Meyer) Zylstra.

Gerald is survived by his beloved wife Reintje (Renie) (Beekman) Zylstra, his daughter, Johanna Burrows and her husband John of Nepean, Ontario, his son, Bert Zylstra and his wife Jeanette, of Cornwall, Ontario, 2 sisters, Trien Labberton and her husband Dirk of Vaassen, Holland, Sjoke Sangers and her husband Arie, of Vaassen, Holland, 5 granchildren, Tanya and James Zylstra and Kristan, Erin and Andrew Burrows, several nieces and nephews.

Gerald was predeceased by 3 brothers, Tiem, Beert, Klaas and a sister, Maaike Mouthaan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of WALLACE FUNERAL HOME 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

At Gerald's request no visitation will be held. A memorial service will be held from Penobsquis United Baptist Church on Wednesday December 6, 2000 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Wayne Johnson Officiating.

Donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
