MRS. ELETTA SORENSEN, of 9507 Rte. 112 Coles Island, New Brunswick, passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on November 6, 2000. Born in Coles Island, New Brunswick on December 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Wellesley and Eva Mae (Perry) Keirstead. Eletta is survived by her beloved husband Norman Fairweather, a brother, Hazen Keirstead and his wife Dianne of Massachusetts, 2 sisters, Olivia Thorne of Minto and Bernice Slocum of Coles Island, several nieces and nephews. Eletta was predeceased by 4 brothers, John, Lloyd, Everett and Victor and by 3 sisters, Freda Springer, Jean Robinson and Juanita Cory. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. Funeral Service will be held from Coles Island Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 8, 2000 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Daniel Brown Officiating. Interment at Coles Island Baptist Cemetery. Donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
