Mr. William Hayward, of Church Ave. Sussex., NB. passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on November 2, 2000. Born in Goshen, New Brunswick on November 28, 1923, he was the son of the late Arthur and Emma (Copp) Hayward. William is survived by his wife Ruby (Clain) Hayward. 3 Daughters Susan Graham and her husband Cortland of McGregor Brook, Nancy Desruisseau and her husband Doug of BelleisleCreek, Janice Owens and her husband Ronald of Saint John. 3 sons Arthur of Sussex, Joseph and his wife Laura of Portcoquitlin BC. Brian and his wife Lana of Saint John, brother James and his wife Barb of St. Bruno, Quebec, 2 half brothers John Cunningham and his wife Doris of Apohaqui, Norman Cunningham and his wife Anna of Long Creek, sister Bertha Curtis of Saint John, a half sister Clara Grey and her husband Aubrey of Belleisle Creek,16 grandchildren ,7 great grandchildren 1 step grandchild and 2 step great grandchildren. William is also predeceased by 2 sisters Hazel Smith and Kathleen Holder. and 3 brothers-in-law Archie Smith, Willis Curtis and Les Holder. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of WALLACE FUNERAL HOME 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) visitation with family and friends on Friday 7-9 pm and Sat. 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Sussex United Baptist Church on Sunday, November 5, 2000 at 2 :30 pm, with Pastor Gordon Walker and Rev. Pattison Officiating. Interment at Newtown Baptist Cemetery. Donations made to Donors Choice or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
