John Colin Hughes was born in Cody's on November 21, 1942, he was the son of the late Gordon Hughes and Anna (Noddin) and was the husband of the late (Jean) Siessor. John was an Employee of Loomis Courier Mr. John Hughes of Brampton, ON, passed away on June 28, 2000 at the age of 57. John is survived by two daughters Kathleen Hughes and Dave, Nathalie Fitzsimmons and her husband Owen all of Ont; his three brothers; Edwin and his wife Cathy of Cody's, Robin and his wife Cheryl of Sussex, Charles and his wife Valerie of Jemseg; one sister; Doris Edling and her husband Don of Hampton; he was the grandfather to Olivia, Arynn, Jonathon, and Aidan; also to several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his first wife Helen who passed away in 1977. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm .
