Gladys Kirkpatrick was born in Wirral, Queens Co. on April 8, 1901, she was the daughter of the late Silas and Mary Jane (Hoyt) Kirkpatrick. Gladys was a member of Patterson United Church in Hoyt, NB and also attended St. John's United Church in Sussex, NB. Miss Gladys Louisa Kirkpatrick of Sussex, NB, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, on April 30, 2000 at the age of 99. Gladys will be remembered by a brother; Willard Kirkpatrick and his wife Viola of Fredericton; his sister Elda March of Sussex; sister-in-law, Ella Kirkpatrick of Hoyt; also by several nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by three brothers; Lester, Hazen, and Percy and by two sisters; Annie and Florence. . The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Gladys' life will be held from St. John's United Church on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at 2 :00 pm. The interment will take place at Patterson Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
