Mona MacDonald was born in Sussex on September 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frank Madden and Mary L. (Ryan) and was the wife of the late William MacDonald. Mona retired from NBTel with over 30 years of service, she was a member of St. Francis Xavier RC Church and the NBTEL Pioneers and enjoyed Bowling and Crokinole. Mrs. M. Mona MacDonald of Sussex,NB, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 29, 2000 at the age of 80. M. Mona will be remembered by her daughter; Mary McCurdy of Sussex; two Brothers; Tom Madden and his wife Theresa of Sussex, Harry Madden and his wife Annie of Fredericton; one sister; Helen Malone of Toronto; one sister in law Teresa Madden of Smith Creek; her granddaughter; Danielle McCurdy of Sussex; and also by several nieces and nephews. Mona was predeceased by two brothers; Adrian and Frances. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 7-9 Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating M.
