George Sherwood was born in Hammondvale on September 8, 1918, he was the son of the late Charles and Inez (Mallory) Sherwood. George attended the Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship Mr. George Kempton Sherwood of Hammondvale, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on February 29, 2000 at the age of 81. George will be remembered by his brother; Charles & his wife Nina Sherwood, his sisters; Lena & her husband Bob Lake, and Gertrude & her husband Ira Wilkins, all of Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his brothers; Ralph, Lloyd, & Robbie, and by his sisters; Bertha, Cora, & Nida. A service celebrating George Kempton's life will be held from Faith Bible Baptist Fellowship on Friday, March 03, 2000 at 2:00 pm.
