Joan Parlee was born in Moncton on January 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Lillian (Wilson) Steeves and was the wife of the late Fred Parlee. Joan was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Mrs. Joan Lillian Parlee of Sussex, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 13, 2000 at the age of 63. Joan is survived by two brothers; Reg Steeves and his wife Shirley of Riverview, Ivan Steeves and his wife Mae of Salisbury; sister-in-law; Faith Steeves of Moncton; six nieces and nephews; Kenneth, Douglas, Colleen, Daniel, Heather and Lori. Joan was predeceased by a brother; Gordon. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Joan Lillian's life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Sunday, January 16, 2000 at 3:00 pm.
