Obituary of Leslie Mason
Leslie Mason was born in Millstream, on June 1, 1934, he was the
son of the late Malcolm Mason and Alice Mason and was the husband of the late Betty (Cole) Mason.
Leslie was a gunner in the army and retired from the RCHA in 1984 with over 29 years of service. He served overseas and was stationed in Germany.
He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20.
Mr. Leslie Lawrence Earle Mason of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 7, 2000 at the age of 65. Leslie will be remembered by his two daughters; Dorothy Mason of Fredericton, Sandy Mason of Petawawa, Ontario; three brothers; Ken and his wife Doris of Berwick, Jim and his wife Leona of Watertown, Mass., (Mac) Junior and his wife Verna of Watertown, Mass.; four grandsons; Steven, Michael, Nicholas and Jason; also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Leslie was predeceased by a son; Eugene who passed away in 1990 and by 2 brothers; Hartley and Stan.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm .
A service celebrating Leslie's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 10, 2000 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at St. Phillips Roman Catholic Cemetery.
