Leota Wright was born in Head of Millstream on October 11, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Miller) Parlee and was the wife of the late Hazen Wright. Mrs. Leota Margaret Wright of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 7, 2000 at the age of 74. Leota will be remembered by her five daughters; Bertha Guimond and her husband Joseph of Sussex, Beatrice Wright of Fundy Park Road, Anne Cunningham and her husband Mel of Sussex, Mary Richardson and her husband Robert of Fundy Park Road, Christine Wright and her husband Richard of Sussex; her son; Myles Wright of Snider Mountain; three step-daughters; Elizabeth Trites and her husband Gerald of Berwick, Barbara Allaby and her husband Doug of Pleasant Ridge, Darlene Mott and her husband Bev of Drurys Cove; three step-sons; Kenneth of Roachville, Lloyd and his wife Violet of Halifax, Malcolm of Lower Millstream; two brothers; Hiram Parlee and his wife Anne of Norton, Lloyd Parlee and his wife Catherine of Norton; a sister; Eva Wright of Lower Millstream; also many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Leota was predeceased by a daughter; Audrey Wright, a step-son; Esley Wright and by a sister; Mildred Anderson and by two brothers; Ernest and Frederick Parlee. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Leota's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 12, 2000 at 2:00 pm.
