Clarence Munroe was born in Mechanic Settlement on February 2, 1915, he was the son of the late Archie and Bessie (Baskin) Munroe and was the husband of the late Greta (Kincade) Munroe. Clarence was a member of the Seniors Bowling League. Mr. Clarence Robert Munroe of Dutch Valley, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 23, 1999 at the age of 84. Clarence will be remembered by his wife; daughter; Marilyn and her husband Robert Alward of Anagance, his sons; Delbert and his wife Joyce of Fundy Park Rd., Darrel and his wife Ann of Sussex Corner, & Archie and his wife Gladys of Kierstead Mountain, his brother; George Munroe of Belleisle Creek; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Clarence was predeceased by a son; Leonard, a brother; Manning, and his sisters; Helen Voutour & Marie Middleton. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM . A service celebrating Clarence's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 27, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Kirkhill Cemetery.
