Charles Viger was born in Saint John on April 29, 1924, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anabelle G. (Maskell) Viger and was the husband of the late Dorothy (Cole) Viger. Mr. Charles Edmond Viger of Youngs Cove Road, passed away at the Oromocto Hospital on November 15, 1999 at the age of 75. Charles will be remembered by daughter; Sharon Parsons of Prince George, BC; three sons; Michael of Coles Island, Leslie of Edmonton Alberta, Kevin and his wife Kathleen of Edmonton Alberta; three brothers; Alfie and his wife Virginia of Coles Island, George and his wife Elsie of Coles Island, Frederick and his wife Lynn of Pickering, Ont.; six sisters; Florence Sherriff of Coles Island, Adeline Duffley and her husband Phillip of Coles Island, Norma Pougnet of Saint John, Ann Marie Teskey and her husband Bob of Ottawa, Shirley Holtz and her husband John of Kingston, Ont., Mary LeClair and her husband Wayne of Bracebridge, Ont.; five grandchildren; Grant and Craig Delaney, Amanda Parsons all of BC, Kailey and Cole Viger of Edmonton Alberta; also by several nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by an infant son Michael Charles who passed away in 1952. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Charles Edmond's life will be held from St. Patricks RC Church on Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 10:00 am.
