Anna Lucas was born in Denmark on April 2, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Thora Hansen and was the wife of the late George Lucas. Anna retired from Barbour foods. Mrs. Anna Margarete Lucas of Mt. Hebron, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 14, 1999 at the age of 83. Anna will be remembered by her daughter; Phyllis McPhee and her husband George of Mama Georges, Midland; her brother; Hans Hansen and his wife Dolly of Hampton; four grandchildren; Judy Ross, Larry and Barb, Kathy and Mike , Michael and Nancy; eight great grandchildren; Cassie, Chelsea, Benjamin, Stephanie, Shawn, Laura, Brendan and Lucas; also by several nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her grandson-in-law Bill Ross. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Anna's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Kirkhill Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
