Obituary of Mary Seely
Mary Seely was born in Londonderry on January 7, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Wilson) McFarlane and was the wife of the late Penny Seely.
Mary was a retired cook and a member of St. Paul's United Church, the Millstream Valley Lodge LOBA # 1389, the Quilting Guild and the Apohaqui Seniors.
Mary will be remembered by her third husband; James (Penny) Seely, two daughters; Edith Robinson and her husband Ralph of Wards Creek, Velma Ratkowski and her husband Clarence of Hamilton, Ontario; three sons; Leon and his wife Marilyn of Saint John, Gordon and his wife Eileen of Sussex, Eldon and his wife Pat of Wards Creek;
a daughter-in-law; Gloria Hayward of Sussex; a step-daughter; Evelyn Carter and her husband Bill of Moncton; a step-son; Jack Seely of Moncton; a brother; Clarence McFarlane and his wife Florence of Ratters Corner; 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mary Margaret Seely of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 12, 1999 at the age of 77. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Holly Hayward who passed away in 1953, and by her second husband George Wallace who passed away in 1980.

Mary was predeceased by a son; Lawrence who passed away in 1985, four sisters; Pearl Bell, Helen Weighton, Marjorie McFarlane and Florence McLong and by a brother; Hazen McFarlane.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Saturday 7-9pm, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
A service celebrating Mary's life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Monday, November 15, 1999 at 10:30 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
