Obituary of Robert Proctor
Robert "Bob" Proctor was born in Sussex on February 8, 1915, he was the
son of the late Beverly and Mabel (Hall) and was the husband of the late Ruby (Poxon) Proctor.
Bob Served Overseas in the Canadian Army during WWII.
He was retired from the Town of Sussex and was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 who will hold a tribute on Monday October 4, 1999 at 6:45PM.
Mr. Robert J. "Bob" Proctor of Penobsquis, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on October 1, 1999 at the age of 84. Bob will be remembered by his two daughters; Linda Thompson and her husband Tony of Penobsquis, Pam White and her husband Rick of Saint John; a brother; Elmer Proctor and his wife Gerry of Sussex; five sisters; Valerie Myers and her husband Basil of Ottawa, Ont., Jean Proctor of Sussex, Marjorie Atkinson of Sussex, Sybil Watt of Sussex, Dorothy Horncastle and her husband Bob of Hampton; four grandchildren; Troy, Jennifer, Jason and Brian; three great grandchildren; Michael, Jessica, and Matthew; also by several nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by two brothers; Jud, Harold and by three sisters; Beatrice, Marion and Greta. .
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
A service celebrating Bob's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 5, 1999 at 10:30 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
