Obituary of Alexander Phillips

Alexander Phillips was born in Tracy on May 31, 1914, he was the son of the late Perley and Abbigail (Nason) Phillips and was the husband of the late Jean (Queenie Leona Barnett) Phillips.

Alexander will be remembered by his two sons; Martin Phillips and his wife Shelley of Codys; Guy Harris of Chipman; a stepson; Doug Hoddinott and his wife Heather of Nepean, Ontario; a stepdaughter; Ruth Caine and her husband Marty of Calgary, Alberta; eight grandchildren; Meagan and Andrea Phillips of Codys, Jarvis, Valerie, Ada, Alfred, Wayne and Rita; also by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Alexander Phelan Phillips of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, 433-3118 on July 14, 1999 at the age of 85.

Alexander was predeceased by two brothers; Albert and Ross and by a sister; Myrtle Nason.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

A service celebrating Alexander's life will be held from Tracy United Baptist Church on Saturday, July 17, 1999 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place at Tracy United Baptist Cemetery.
