Obituary of Charles Bradley
Charles Bradley was born in Truro on November 18, 1904, he was the
son of the late Allan and Margaret (Cox) Bradley and was the husband of Mildred Bradley.
Charles was a member of St. Paul's United Church, a member and treasurer of the West Side Kirk United Church in West Saint John, a member of the YMCA, the Cost Accountants, the Progressive Conservative Party, the St. John Ambulance in Sussex, a life member of the Carleton Curling Club, a past president of the Sussex Senior Citizens Club, and he also volunteered with the Sussex Sharing Club.
Mr. Charles Bradley of Sussex, NB, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on July 12, 1999 at the age of 94. Charles will be remembered by his wife; Mildred Bradley. He was predeceased by his first wife Anna Bradley in 1975. Charles will also be remembered by his daughter; Anne Porter and her husband Robert of Singapore, his sons; Douglas Bradley and his wife Leona of Quispamsis, Bruce Bradley and his wife Debbie of Montreal, and Robinson Bradley and his wife Joan of Musquash, a sister; Isobel McNutt of Truro, eight grandchildren;; Scott Bradley, Stephen Bradley, Jill Barclay (Alec), Cathy Johnson (Greg), Rhonda Bradley, Michael Bradley, Troy Bradley and Dale Bradley; eight great grandchildren; Aaron and Shawn Bradley; Victoria and Joshua Bradley; Anna and Robb Bradley; Christopher and Brian Johnson; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother; David.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
A service celebrating Charles's life will be held from St. Pauls United Church on Thursday, July 15, 1999 at 10:30 am. The interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
