Grace Wrye was born in Sussex on January 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ada (Makepeace) Coates and was the wife of the late Preston Wrye. Mrs. Grace Hilda Wrye of Sussex, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 12, 1999 at the age of 79. Grace will be remembered by her daughter; Elizabeth at home; her son; Kenneth Wrye of Smith Creek; brother, Stanley Coates and his wife Stella of Sussex; three sisters; Hazel Lord of Smith Creek; Dot Dutcher of Moncton; Mabel Campbell and her husband Harold of Saint John; two grandchildren; Allen and Amy; a great granddaughter; Samantha Grace; and also by several nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her sister; Jean and four brothers; Albert, Harold, Murray and George. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 7-9 pm, Thursday 2-4, 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Grace Hilda's life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Friday, July 16, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Gosline Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
