Thelma Weldon was born in Cornhill on April 27, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Frank. Sr. and Ellen (McEwen) Rouse and was the wife of the late Eddie Barkhouse. Mrs. Thelma Marguerite Weldon of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on June 28, 1999 at the age of 91. Thelma will be remembered by her brother; Lloyd Rouse of Cornhill; sister; Enid Edson and her husband Joe of Sussex Corner; brother-in-law; Raymond Burlock; sister-in-law, Gladys Rouse; and also byvseveral nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by a son; Wayne, nine brothers; Austin, Frank Jr., Irving, Emery, Harley, Arthur, Warren, Herb and Bill, four sisters; Eva, Gladys, Etta and Vera. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
