Raynald Cool was born in Lasarre on March 24, 1922, he was the son of the late Arthur Cool and Julia Savoy and was the husband of Jeanine (Blanchard) Cool. Ray served overseas during WWII in the Canadian Army. He was a retired Manager of Industrial Relations from Prince Albert Pulp and Paper, Prince Albert Sask. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Dalhousie Branch # 17 Mr. Raynald Cool of Ridgewood of Saint John, passed away at the Ridgewood Veterans Wing on June 27, 1999 at the age of 77. Raynald will be remembered by his three sons; Peter and his wife Gail of Miramichi; David and his wife Barb of Quispamsis; Robert and his Donna of Wisconsin, USA; sister; Doria Foisy and her husband Charles of Ottawa, Ont.; brother; Donald Cool and his wife Marion of Campbellton, NB; nine grandchildren; Alyson Ann, Erin, Robyn, Jon, Andy, Rene, Tammy, Ray, Travis; also by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Tuesday 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Raynald's life will be held from St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 30, 1999 at 2:00 pm.
