Obituary of Ronald Folkins

Ronald Folkins was born in Hammond Parish on October 13, 1932, he was the son of the late Austin and Burdela (McFarlane) Folkins and the husband of Joan (Powell) Folkins.

Mr. Ronald Austin Folkins of Hammondvale, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 4, 1999 at the age of 66. Ronald will be remembered by a daughter; Cindy Boger and her husband Arden of Calgary; three sons; Roger of Hammondvale; Christopher of Saint John; Bill and his wife Marti of Cedar Camp; brother; Eldred of Sussex Corner; one step-brother; Everett McFarlane and his wife Ida of Jefferies Corner; two sisters; Bertha Herrington of Saint John, Rowena Hayes of Canmore, Alberta; five grandchildren; Erik, Leandra, Kayla, Amanda and Jasmine; also by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

A service celebrating Ronald's life will be held from Trinity Cemetery on Sunday, June 6, 1999 at 2:30 pm. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
