Kenneth Pollock was born in Poodiac on April 11, 1919, he was the son of the late Albert and Gladys (Davidson) Pollock and was the husband of Joyce (Davidson) Pollock. Kenneth retired from mixed farming and lumbering. He was a member of the Norton Baptist Church and also attended the Southfield United Church and enjoyed a good game of cards. Mr. Kenneth Davidson Pollock of Cassidy Lake, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, on April 21, 1999 at the age of 80. Besides his wife, Kenneth will be remembered by his two daughters; Gladys Keith and her husband Harold of Norton, Hazel Douthwright and her husband Andrew of Penobsquis; one son; Ernest and his wife Shirley of Picadilly; two brothers, Ronald and his wife Florence of Sussex, Norman and his wife Lorraine of Wards Creek; six sisters; Winnie Bradshaw and her husband Joseph of Halifax, Frances Carr of Saint John, Dorothy Hayes and her husband Cecil of Florida, Charlotte Pickett and her husband Fred of Havelock, Betty Taylor and her husband Clarence of Halifax, Marie Hodgin of Saint John; two granddaughters; Dawn and Janice; four grandsons; Corey, Darrell, Joey and Gordie; four great grandchildren; Jenna, Devin, Shannon and Shanell; also by several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by three sisters; Willa Porter, Gertrude Patterson and Ruth Campbell. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm . A service celebrating Kenneth's life will be held from Wallace Funeral Home Ltd. on Friday, April 23, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
