Jane Carll was born in on January 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Irvine and Adelia (Leake) Coates and was the wife of the late Raymond Carll. Jane was a retired teacher. Mrs. Jane Cora Carll of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 17, 1999 at the age of 73. Jane will be remembered by her three daughters; Betty Short and her husband Ches of Winona, Ont., Evelyn Douthwright and her husband Ralph of Apohaqui, Pauline Adair and her husband Elmor of Knightville; two sons; Ken and his wife Barb of Knightville, Ron and his wife Sandra of Smith Creek; three Sisters; Annie Floyd and her husband Frank of Apohaqui, Adelia Mercer and her husband Maynard of Plumweseep, Florence McFarlane and her husband Hazen of Sussex; three brothers; John Coates and his wife Edith of Sussex, Andrew Coates and his wife Florence of Hamilton, Irvine Coates jr. of Sussex; 12 grandchildren; Richard, Wanda, Kevin, Daniel, Darren, Jodie, Patti-Jo, Nicholas, Keith, Michael, Jason, Justin, and a great granddaughter; Alivia, as well as several Nieces and Nephews. Jane was predeceased by three sisters; Hazel, Ruth, and Doris and by two grandchildren; Pamela Short, and Mark Carll. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Thursday 7-9 pm Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Jane's life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Saturday, March 20, 1999 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
