Lawrence Whitenect was born in Penobsquis on February 15, 1923, he was the son of Alice Whitenect and the husband of Blanche Leavitt. Lawrence was a past member of the LOL Waterford. Mr. Lawrence Clifford Whitenect of Penobsquis, passed away on February 19, 1999 at the age of 76. Lawrence is survived by his wife; Blanche Leavitt; a daughter; Deborah Howe and her husband Richard of Salisbury; two grandchildren; Adam and Ashley; one nephew and several cousins. Lawrence was predeceased by a brother Roy. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Lawrence's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 22, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Cardwell Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
