Mary Carten was born in Waterford on September 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Maude M. (Gordon) Carten. Miss Mary Olive Carten of Sussex, passed away at her residence on February 12, 1999 at the age of 76. Mary will be remembered by her brother; Irvine and his wife Ivy of Urney; three sisters; Grace Monahan and her husband Bill of Sussex, Isabel Pothier and her husband Ulysse of Saint John, Elizabeth Connelly of England; also by several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by four brothers; Warren, Michael, Russell, and Joe and by two sisters; Annie and Bertha. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
