Viola Pilotte was born in Campbell's Cove on August 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Ryan) McEachern. Mrs. Viola Pilotte of NewLine, passed away on January 27, 1999 at the age of 77. Viola will be remembered by her husband; Real J. Pilotte, her daughter; Patricia Burke and her husband Larry of Newline, NB; two brothers; Richard McEachern of Campbell's Cove, PEI; Roland McEachern of Brantford, Ont.; three sisters; Mary Sutherland of Kensington, PEI, Rita Devine of Connecticut, Marjorie Webster of Lower Monteque, PEI.; five grandchildren; Colin, Colleen, Michael, Dennis, and Cheryl; also by several nieces and nephews. Viola was predeceased by a son; Robert. A service celebrating Viola's life will be held from St. Columba RC Church on Friday, January 29, 1999.
