Audrey Gaunce was born in Millstream on January 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jessie (Livingstone) Goggin and was the wife of the late Harold Gaunce. Audrey was a member of the Head of Millstream United Church, the Head of Millstream UCW, the Millstream Valley Orange Lodge # 1389 LOBA and the Millstream Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Audrey Gaunce of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 14, 1999 at the age of 79. Audrey will be remembered by her seven daughters; June Crowe and her husband Charles of Saint John, NB, Joan Shewman and her husband Robert of Mississauga, Ont., Patricia Anderson-King and her husband Reginald King of Smith Creek, NB, Netelia Baker and her husband John of Ottawa, Ont., Hope Allaby and her husband Richard of Hampton, NB, Yvonne Belding and her husband Stanley of Straffordville, Ont., Deborah Freeze and her husband Samuel of Newtown, NB; five sons; Frederick of Sussex, NB, Lawrence and his wife Diane of Long Sault, Ont., Peter and his wife Marlene of New Scotland, NB, William and his wife Laurie of Millstream, NB, Paul and his wife Heather of Passekeag, NB; two brothers; Jack Goggin and his wife Bea of New Hampshire, USA, Murray Goggin and his wife Frances of Millstream,NB; two sisters; Ethel McFarlane of Sussex, NB, Clara Folkins of Sussex, NB; 19 grandsons; 10 granddaughters; 2 great granddaughters; also by several nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by a sister; Evelyn Matthews and by a brother; Walter. .The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Audrey's life will be held from Carsonville Head of Millstream United on Monday, January 18, 1999 at 2:00 pm.
