Clara Frits was born in Saint John on May 14, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Susannah (Wilson) Nolan and was the wife of the late Henry Frits. Clara was a member of the Berwick, Mt. Middleton WI, the Berwick, Pearsonville UCW, the Millstream Seniors, and the Wesley United Church. Mrs. Clara Annie Frits of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 8, 1999 at the age of 82. Clara will be remembered by her two daughters; Marjorie Goddard and her husband Russell of Berwick, Shirley Wilcox of Millstream; five sons; David and his wife Christina of Picadilly, William of Mt.Middleton, Donald and his wife Barb of Millstream, Art and his wife Sally of Saint John, Stan of Saint John; brother; Garfield Reynolds and his wife Caroline of Quispamsis; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Clara was predeceased by two brothers; Arthur & Bernard, and by a sister; Florence Penny; granddaughter Anne-Marie; daughter-in-law; Faye, and a son-in-law Murray Wilcox. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
