Hattie Geldart was born in Sussex on November 27, 1941, she was the daughter of Amos and Fannie (Henwood) Snider and was the wife of the late Wendell Geldart. Hattie was a member of the Salvation Army and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20, Sussex. Mrs. Hattie Sherline Geldart of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 28, 1998 at the age of 57. Hattie will be remembered by her daughters; Nancy Comeau and her husband Robert of Quispamsis, Kim at home; two sons; Doug and his wife Shirley of Knightville, Angus Snider and his wife Dorothy of Knightville; two brothers; Willis Snider and his wife Deborah of Smith Creek, Garnet of Belleisle; two sisters; Joan Brown and her husband Gordon of East Mapleton, Nova Scotia, Alice Brebner and her husband Arthur of Springhill, Nova Scotia; nine grandchildren; Melissa, Chantal, Troy, Pat, Susan, Jeremy, Tyler, Samatha and Chad; one great granddaughter; Christa also by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Hattie's life will be held from Salvation Army on Thursday, December 31, 1998 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Roachville Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
