Wendell Geldart was born in Hammondvale on March 24, 1929, he was the son of the late George and Martha (Hunter) Geldart and was the husband of the late Hattie (Snider) Geldart. Mr. Wendell Douglas A. Geldart of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 28, 1998 at the age of 69. Wendell will be remembered by his two daughters; Nancy Comeau and her husband Robert of Quispamsis; Kim at home; two sons; Doug and his wife Shirley of Knightville, Angus Snider and his wife Dorothy of Knightville; two brothers; Fred and his wife Elma of Barnsville, Joe and his wife Fran of Petitcodiac; three sisters; Harriette Ayer and her husband Murray of Saint John, Jeanie Olson of Saint John, Margie Wilson of Sussex; nine grandchildren; Melissa, Chantal, Troy, Pat, Susan, Jeremy, Tyle, Samatha and Chad; one great granddaughter; Christa; also by several nieces and nephews. Wendell was predeceased by a brother; Cedric and a sister; Bronzilla "Bea" Adair. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
