Mary Sprott was born in Scotland on May 27, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Jean (MacLean) Neilson and was the wife of the late Martin Sprott. Mary was a member of the Berwick Senior Citizens. Mrs. Mary Brannon Sprott of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on December 28, 1998 at the age of 93. Mary will be remembered by her three daughters; Jean Armstrong of Apohaqui, Ina Robertson of Harvey and Neva Whittaker and her husband Allan of Mount Middleton; two sons; Claude Sprott and his wife Shirley of Hoyt and Reid Sprott and his wife Loretta of Searsville; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, also by several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by two sons; Guy and Martin Jr., three brothers; Jim, Claude and John and by a sister; Jean. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Mary's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 31, 1998 at 10:30 am. The interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
