Obituary of Dorothy McFarlane

Dorothy McFarlane was born in Apohaqui on March 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Abe and Sarah (Goddard) Parlee and was the wife of Ralph McFarlane.

Dorothy was a member of Apohaqui Baptist Church and the Sussex Seniors Bowling League.

Mrs. Dorothy Pauline McFarlane of Sussex, passed away at her residence on December 27, 1998 at the age of 73. Dorothy will be remembered by her daughter; Roberta Callahan of Derry N.H.; step-daughter; Jennifer Flemming and her husband David of Norton, a step-son James MacFarlane and his wife Marilyn of Quispamsis; brother; George Parlee and his wife Sadie of Apohaqui; three sisters; Olive Simpson and her husband Ernest of Keirstead Mt.; Lulu Eldridge of Sussex, Pearl Lockhart of Bathurst; also by several grandchildren; great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband; Robert Callahan; three sisters; Mabel, Florence and Lottie and by a brother; Nelson.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

A service celebrating Dorothy's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 29, 1998 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery.
