Obituary of Doris Folkins

Doris Folkins was born in Pearsonville on July 13, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Hedley and Merle (Kelly) Crealock and was the wife of the late Emmerson Folkins.

Doris was a member of the Lower Millstream United Church and the Lower Millstream UCW. She was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 76 Ladies Auxillary and also a member of the Apohaqui Senior Citizens Club.

Doris Bertha Folkins of Apohaqui, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 11, 1998 at the age of 81. Doris will be remembered by her two daughters; Joan Vincent and her husband Bill of Georgetown, Ontario, Bertha Folkins of Lower Millstream; four sons; Carl of Calgary, Alberta, Doug and his wife Joyce of Derry, New Hampshire, USA, Glenn and his wife Gayle of Lower Millstream, Blair and his wife Sally of Sussex, N.B.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

A service celebrating Doris's life will be held from Lower Millstream United Church on Monday, December 14, 1998 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Wesley United Cemetery.
