Viola Carhart was born in Norton on September 18, 1937, she was the daughter of Robert Darrell and Mary L. (Howe) and was the wife of William (Bill) Carhart. Mrs. Viola May Carhart of Sussex, NB passed away at the Sussex Health Center on November 19, 1998 at the age of 61. Viola will be remembered by her husband; Bill; two daughters; Theresa Carhart of Saint John, Tracy Barton and her husband Dan of Cape Breton, six sons; Brian and his wife Diane of Millstream, Bob of Sussex, Bruce and his wife Wilma of Belleisle, Randy and his wife Kim of Millstream, Jeff of Sussex and Rick and his wife Juanita of Sussex, two brothers; Jim Darrell and his wife Mary of Saint John and Carl Darrell and his wife Jane of Hampton, two sisters; Helen Hughson of Fox Hill and Bernice Fairbrother and her husband Charlie of Saint John. 17 Grandchildren, also by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday 7-9 pm and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Viola's life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Sunday, November 22, 1998 at 2:00 pm.
