Allen was born in North Sydney on November 20, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine S.(MacDonald) Hunston and was the wife of the late Edward Allen. Edna worked as a Bank Clerk. Mrs. Edna Frances Allen of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 12, 1998 at the age of 82. Edna will be remembered by her daughter; Judy O'Leary of Moncton, son; Rick of Toronto; two brothers; Kenneth Hunston and his wife Clare of Campbell River, BC and Robert of Toronto; two sisters; Dorothy of Toronto and Molly Russell and her husband Ralph of Halifax; two grandchildren; Jennifer and Blake; also by several nieces and nephews. . The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
