Amelia Snider was born in Head of Millstream on June 4, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Maude (White) Hayes and was the wife of the late Herbert Snider. Amelia Mae Snider of Foxhill, passed away at the Scenic View Special Care Home on November 11, 1998 at the age of 93. Amelia will be remembered by her daughter; Velma Cosman and her husband Bert of Nepean, Ont.; four sons; Royce and his wife Marjorie of Sussex, David and his wife Mary of Saint John, NB, Lawrence and his wife Carol of Saint John, NB, Eldon and his wife Ann of Carsonville; one brother; A. Stanley Hayes of Saint John, NB; one sister; Anna Frazee of Hartford, Connecticut; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; also by several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert Snider. She was also predeceased by a son; Burton and an infant son, a daughter; Janice, and by three brothers; Charles, Frank & Harmey. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Amelia's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 14, 1998 at 11:00 am.
