Obituary of Violet Mae Carr

Mrs. Violet Mae Carr passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 06, 1998 at the age of 75. Born in Geary on February 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Thelma Smith. Violet will live on in the hearts of her husband Adam E. Carr; their daughter Emily Thorne and her husband Carl, of Sussex; their four sons: Edwin and his wife Judy of Sussex, Peter and his wife Lois of Apohaqui, Aubrey and his wife Joanne of Apohaqui, and Ralph and his wife Jolanda of Sussex; her two sisters: Bertha Smith and her husband Graydon, and Kaye Smith and her husband Everett; as well as her uncle Robert Boone all of Geary; 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews Violet was predeceased by her brother Leo. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home Ltd., Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176. A Celebration of Violet’s life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on July 09, 1998 with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating.
