Obituary of Joyce Lillian Brooks

Joyce was born in Sale, England on May 6, 1916; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Gardner) Cope.

Joyce of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island will live on in the hearts of her husband Carl Brooks; her daughters: Carlyne Smith and her husband Robert and Wendy Pineau and her husband Valmond; her sisters: Winnifred Murphy of Fredericton and Margaret Cromwell of Bloomfield; her four loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Joyce worked as a Libraian at the Saint John Public Library until her retirement. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20 Ladies Auxilary.

Mrs. Joyce Lillian Brooks of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on June 18, 1993 at the age of 77.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

A service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Monday, June 21, 1993 at 2:00 pm.
