Obituary of Gladys Ora Metcalfe

Gladys was born in Penobsquis on February 24, 1908, she was the daughter of the late William and Lottie (Hynes) Williams. Gladys is the last surviving member of her family.

Gladys Ora Metcalfe of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 29, 1993 at the age of 85. Metcalfe. She is predeceased by her husband, Willard, her son Jack and her daughter Mary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, from 7-9 .

A service celebrating Gladys’ life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, July 2, 1993 at 11:00 am.
