Obituary of Edna Marguerite Yeomans

Edna was born in Lisson Settlement on June 20, 1897, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (McAulay) McFarlane.

Edna will live on in the hearts of her daughters: Mary Lawson and her husband Stewart of Rockville, Lorna Quartermain and her husband Mansell of Rockville, Edris Atwood and her husband James of Ontario and Betty Stewart and her husband Doug of Dutch Valley; her sons: Colby Yeomans and his wife Isabel of Dutch Valley, Lloyd Yeomans and his wife Bunty of Ontario and Robert Yeomans and his wife Marilyn of Marysville, NB; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Edna Marguerite Yeomans of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 30, 1993 at the age of 96. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert James Yeomans, who passed away in 1984.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

A service celebrating Edna’s life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Friday, July 2, 1993 at 2:00 pm.
